Osteopath / Massage Therapist
French, English and Hebrew speaking osteopath D.O. and massage therapist in Tel Aviv. My practice is at 6 Hovevei Tsion, a few minutes from the sea, open Sunday to Friday. I guide my patients towards better bodily balance, gently and without medication. Every session starts with a full assessment (history of the pain, postural observation, mobility testing) before a treatment tailored to your situation: I look for what explains the symptom, not only the spot that hurts. Most common reasons for consulting: back pain and lower back pain, neck pain and stiff neck, sciatica, migraines and headaches, shoulder, knee or jaw pain, tension from screen work, functional digestive issues, recovery after a sprain or a sports injury. I treat adults, amateur and competitive athletes, pregnant women, infants, teenagers and seniors. Structural, visceral, cranial and biodynamic osteopathy, combined when useful with therapeutic massage, dry needling, cupping and lymphatic drainage. Appointments at the clinic or at your home in Tel Aviv. My goal: lasting relief and mobility you can feel in daily life.
How a session works The first consultation lasts about 45 minutes. It starts with a conversation: what brings you in, since when, what makes the pain better or worse, your medical history, your work, your sport. Then comes the examination: posture, joint mobility testing, palpation of the tense areas. Treatment follows what the assessment showed, and I explain what I am doing and why as we go. The session ends with simple advice for home: stretches, working position, how to get back to activity step by step. One manual approach, several tools Depending on the person and the complaint, I use structural osteopathy (joint work), visceral osteopathy (digestive area), cranial and biodynamic osteopathy (a very gentle approach, useful for stress, migraines and infants). Therapeutic massage, lymphatic drainage, cupping and dry needling are added when they are indicated. Nothing is imposed: strong techniques are never used on someone who does not want them. Who I see Adults, athletes, pregnant women (prenatal massage from the second trimester), infants, teenagers, seniors. Many of my patients are French speakers living in Tel Aviv, recent olim or visitors, who would rather describe their pain in their own language. Education
Osteopath D.O., graduate of the Israeli School of Osteopathy. Also a massage therapist and sports coach.
Experience
Practising in Tel Aviv since 2017, at the clinic and at patients' homes. Adults, athletes, pregnant women, infants, teenagers and seniors. Consultations in French, English and Hebrew.
Do I need a referral to see an osteopath in Israel?
No. Osteopathy is direct access: you book yourself, without going through your doctor first. If your situation calls for a medical opinion or imaging, I will tell you and point you in the right direction.
How many sessions will I need?
For recent pain, one to three sessions are usually enough. For pain that has been there for months or years, follow-up takes longer and sessions are gradually spaced out. I never sell packages of sessions upfront.
Does the treatment hurt?
No, treatment stays comfortable. Tense areas can feel tender during the work, and mild soreness for 24 to 48 hours is possible. Strong techniques are never used on someone who does not want them: there is always a gentle option.
Do you speak English and French?
Yes. I work in French, English and Hebrew. Many of my patients are French speakers living in Tel Aviv or visiting.
Do you treat babies and pregnant women?
Yes. Infants are treated only with cranial and biodynamic techniques, with no strong manipulation. Pregnant women are positioned on their side with cushions; prenatal massage is offered from the second trimester.
Is the session covered by my kupat holim or insurance?
It depends on your health fund and your complementary insurance: some refund part of manual therapy sessions against a receipt. I give you a receipt at the end of the session to pass on to your fund or insurer.
What is the difference between osteopathy, physiotherapy and massage?
Osteopathy looks for the origin of the problem and works on the mobility of the whole body, over a few sessions. Physiotherapy rehabilitates a function over time, often after an injury or surgery. Therapeutic massage works on muscle and tissue, relieves tension and complements osteopathic treatment well.
What should I bring or wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in. Bring any recent imaging (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound). Tell me about recent surgery, osteoporosis, blood thinners or pregnancy: it changes the techniques I use.
45 minutes · 300 ₪
A 45 minute osteopathy session, at the clinic or at your home. Full assessment (history of the pain, posture, mobility testing) then hands-on treatment tailored to what the assessment shows: structural, visceral, cranial or biodynamic techniques. Suited to back and lower back pain, neck pain, sciatica, migraines, shoulder, knee or jaw pain, functional digestive issues and recovery after an injury. Adults, athletes, pregnant women, teenagers and seniors. The session ends with advice to apply at home.
20 minutes · 200 ₪
Gentle massage of the face, temples and jaw, 20 minutes. Work on the masseter and temporal muscles, which tighten with stress, teeth clenching and long days in front of a screen. Useful for jaw tension, end of day headaches and a permanently tight face. A short session, often added to an osteopathy appointment.
20 minutes · 250 ₪
Lymphatic drainage of the face and neck, 20 minutes. Very light pressure on the drainage areas of the face, to reduce puffiness and get circulation moving. Chosen for swollen eyelids and face in the morning, dull complexion and heaviness after a short night. A short version of the body drainage, with no heavy oil work and no strong manipulation.
50 minutes · 450 ₪
A very gentle manual approach, 50 minutes, with light contact on the skull, spine and pelvis. The practitioner follows the micro movements of the tissues rather than forcing a joint: nothing cracks, nothing is forced. Chosen for stress, anxiety, migraines, sleep problems, persistent fatigue, and by people who cannot tolerate structural techniques. Also suitable for infants and pregnant women.
60 minutes · 400 ₪
Deep tissue massage and soft tissue manipulation, 60 minutes. Sustained pressure on the deeper muscle layers and trigger points, with precise work on the neck, traps, lower back or legs depending on your pain. Suited to long standing knots, athletic tension, desk posture pain and old stiffness. Dry needling and cupping can be added when useful. Some soreness for 24 to 48 hours is normal.
90 minutes · 500 ₪
Deep tissue massage and soft tissue manipulation, 90 minutes. Same work as the 60 minute version, with time to cover several areas in one session: the whole back, neck, hips and legs. Chosen by athletes in a heavy training block and by patients carrying several long standing tension points.
60 minutes · 300 ₪
One to one strength and mobility session, 60 minutes, adapted to your physical condition. Starting assessment, exercises targeted at the weak or stiff areas, correction of working postures, and a simple programme to keep going on your own. Useful when getting back to activity after a long break, alongside osteopathic treatment, or to stop the same pain coming back.
Do you do home visits?
Yes, within Tel Aviv. A home appointment is booked exactly like a clinic appointment.
