Do we need a device for each ear?
It depends on your hearing assessment: if the loss affects both ears, binaural hearing aids generally provide better sound localization and a more natural listening experience. Some hearing losses affect only one ear and only require a single hearing aid.
Can you try out a device before buying it?
Yes, absolutely. When choosing your hearing aids, we arrange a trial so you can test them in real-life conditions before making a final decision. Simply ask us for details about the model you're interested in.
Will I need to buy hearing aids after the assessment?
No. A financial statement is a measurement, not a sale. If a loss is identified, we will explain the available options, and you will leave with your results—the decision, and its timing, are yours.
Can tinnitus be cured?
There is no single solution that works for everyone, and we don't promise a cure. What is offered—sound therapy, masking, and properly fitted hearing aids when hearing loss is present—aims to make tinnitus less noticeable and easier to live with, not to make it disappear.
Are tinnitus symptoms a sign of hearing loss?
Often, but not always. A hearing test is the only way to determine if your tinnitus is accompanied by hearing loss, and this result will guide the next steps.
